The Udder Excellence Awards are Foremost Farms’ premier employee recognition program, featuring seven award categories presented bi-annually to individuals and teams who go above and beyond in support of our cooperative’s success. Congratulations to the following recipients, selected from nominations submitted between January and June 2026.

Foremost Farms recently hosted its 31st annual Cow-lege Cash Golf Outing, bringing together employees, members, partners and supporters for a day of friendly competition and fundraising in support of education scholarships.

With more than 30 years of experience in the dairy industry, Matt has built his career around a passion for making exceptional cheese. Today, he’s focused on advancing product quality, pushing innovation, and helping empower the talented people behind the work.

In the dairy industry, uncertainty is a constant; so fostering a growth mindset and prioritizing learning and leadership development have been essential to continuous improvement at Foremost Farms, a major dairy manufacturing business and member cooperative.

Today, Good Morning America is shining a spotlight on several women dairy farmers, including Margaret Johnson of Trailside Holsteins, a Foremost Farms member from Fountain, Minnesota.

Foremost Farms proudly participated in the 2026 World Dairy Expo (WDE), held September 29 – October 2 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisc. As one of the dairy industry’s leading global events, WDE brought together thousands of professionals for a week of innovation, education and celebration.
