MIDDLETON, WISC., April 14, 2026—Foremost Farms awarded fourteen students $3,500 each to help fund their post-secondary education as part of the Foremost Farms Foundation’s annual scholarship program, for a total of $49,000. The scholarship amount was recently increased to $3,500, thanks to additional funds raised at the 2025 Madison, Wisc. Cheese Fair Off the Square event.
Each spring, Foremost Farms proudly awards scholarships to children of seven Foremost Farms employees and seven member farmers based on academic success and community involvement. This scholarship program stands as a testament to Foremost Farms’ dedication to nurturing educational excellence, upholding the pledge to serve as a Force for Good in the communities we serve.
“Being a ‘Force for Good’ isn’t just one of our values—it’s the heart of what we do,” said Brenda Dehart, President and CEO of Foremost Farms. “By supporting students in reaching their academic goals, we’re investing in a brighter future for both our communities and the agricultural and dairy industries.”
This year’s scholars’ intended continuing education programs include agriculture, animal science, and business.
Scholarship funds are offered through Foremost Farms Charitable Foundation and are largely generated by employee-sponsored events and an annual golf outing.
