June Dairy Month has come and gone, bringing together Foremost Farms employees and members to celebrate the endless possibilities of dairy. Here are some highlights from this month:
Celebrating World Milk Day
On June 1st, we celebrated World Milk Day by recognizing the farmers, employees and partners who help bring nutritious dairy products to tables every day. Together, Foremost Farms members produced more than 6 billion pounds of milk in 2025!
Cooperative Summer Celebration
In June, Foremost Farms hosted its quarterly Town Hall, recognizing employees and members for the valuable contributions they make every day. The cooperative held a company-wide t-shirt design contest, with the winning shirt then given to all employees. To celebrate at our headquarters, employees also enjoyed ice cream from Madison Chocolate Shoppe, made with high-quality Foremost Farms milk!
Breakfast on the Farm
This year, Foremost Farms was proud to have five member farms host county dairy breakfasts in their communities. More than 18,000 attendees enjoyed delicious breakfasts, farm tours and educational exhibits celebrating dairy. To help make these events a success, Foremost Farms donated nearly 300 pounds of cheese and 140 pounds of butter. At each breakfast cooperative employees also volunteered, where they assisted in serving food as well as helped share our story at the Foremost Farms booth.
Check out some of our farms who hosted breakfasts!
Richland Center June Dairy Days
In Richland Center, employees from Foremost Farms’ local plant joined the community in celebrating June Dairy Month during the city’s annual June Dairy Days festivities. Volunteers proudly represented Foremost Farms in the Rodeo Parade, sharing candy with attendees, connecting with community members and celebrating the cooperative spirit.
Reedsburg Butterfest
Home to our butter production facility, Reedsburg, WI celebrated all things butter during Butterfest! Foremost Farms employees proudly represented the cooperative by marching alongside our float in the parade, celebrating our connection to the community and our passion for producing quality dairy products.
2026 Summer Interns Arrive
At the start of June, we welcomed our summer interns to Foremost Farms! Over the past five weeks, this year’s group has gained hands-on experience learning about the cheesemaking process, connecting with cooperative leaders and contributing fresh perspectives through their summer projects across the organization.
