Middleton, Wisc. December 16, 2025 – Foremost Farms USA is pleased to announce the finalization of its strategic sale of the foodservice cheese business, including the 1950-127 brand and related manufacturing equipment, to Wisconsin Dairy Distributing (WDD), headquartered in Waupun, Wisconsin.
This transaction marks a pivotal moment in Foremost Farms’ continued focus on core strengths in bulk cheese production. As part of the agreement, Foremost Farms will supply bulk cheese to WDD under a formal cheese supply agreement, ensuring consistent quality and performance in finished goods.
Several Foremost Farms sales representatives have joined WDD and are supporting customers through this transition, which is currently taking place.
Reflecting the strong community values behind this partnership, Foremost Farms & WDD donated 20,000 pounds of cheese this month to four regional hunger-relief organizations in Wisconsin and Michigan.
