A Force for Good: Foremost Farms Team Gives Back at Paul’s Pantry

November 20, 2025

At Foremost Farms, caring for our communities is at the heart of everything we do. Living out our value of being a Force for Good, employees from our Headquarters and Appleton plant recently came together to volunteer at our cooperative partner, Paul’s Pantry, a cherished community food pantry in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

For over forty years, Paul’s Pantry has been a beacon of hope and is one of the largest food pantries in Wisconsin, serving more than 250 families every day. The pantry is 100% free for those in need and is fully stocked with donations from the community and across the Badger State. Nothing goes to waste: all inedible food is given to local livestock farmers. Nothing is wasted.

Foremost Farms has been honored to provide quality butter to Paul’s Pantry at a discounted price. This year, we were also proud to donate 300 pounds of cheese, further supporting the pantry’s mission to nourish families. Just last year alone, Paul’s Pantry distributed over 5.3 million pounds of food to area families.

The pantry’s grocery-style design ensures every guest can shop with dignity and comfort. “We take pride in giving our patrons a dignified shopping experience,” says Bob Hornacek, Assistant Executive at Paul’s Pantry. “Each person has their own cart and the freedom to choose what they need.”

Courtney Cantwell, Director of Communications at Foremost Farms, was among the volunteers. “It was inspiring to spend time with Bob and learn more about the incredible work Paul’s Pantry does every day,” says Cantwell. “Seeing firsthand how the pantry empowers families with dignity and choice reminded me why partnerships like this matter so much. I’m proud that Foremost Farms can play a role in supporting their mission.”

In addition to its 12 full-time employees, Paul’s Pantry is thankful for the dozens of volunteers who make this mission possible.

Thank you to our team members who generously volunteered their time and energy to make a real difference for families in need!
