MIDDLETON, WISC. (Mar. 06, 2025) – Foremost Farms USA, a leading dairy cooperative achieved two best in class finishes at the United States Championship Cheese Contest held this week. The contest is considered the nation’s premier technical cheese, butter and yogurt competition and it has been hosted by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) biennially since 1981.
A team of 38 judges evaluated 2,414 entries based on flavor, body and texture, salt, color, finish, packaging, and other appropriate attributes. Awards were given to the highest scoring entries in each class.
In addition to earning best in class in the Salted Butter and Non-Fat Dry Milk (NFDM) categories, Foremost Farms also secured multiple top five finishes across several other categories.
