Middleton, Wisc. (Nov. 18, 2025) – Foremost Farms USA, a leading dairy cooperative continued its winning year at the 2025 National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) Cheese and Dairy Products Competition in Arlington, Texas. This prestigious contest showcases and evaluates cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt and butter entries from NMPF cooperative members across the United States.
Foremost Farms achieved five top finishes in the cheese categories, including a sweep of the Reduced Fat Provolone Category.

- Reduced Fat – Non-Smoked Provolone: 1st & 3rd place – Clayton, Wisc.
- Reduced Fat – Smoked Provolone: 2nd place – Clayton, Wisc.
- Medium Cheddar: 1st place – Marshfield, Wisc.
- Mild Cheddar: 3rd place – Marshfield, Wisc.

The annual NMPF Cheese & Dairy Products Competition is held in conjunction with the NMPF Joint Annual Meeting and the Young Cooperators (YC) program for emerging dairy leaders.
Representing Foremost Farms at the YC meeting was Brendan Christ, Field Member Relations Manager, who joined three young cooperative leaders. Reflecting on the experience, Christ shared:
“These leaders were able to learn and grow with other YC’s from across the country. We discussed what it takes to be a successful board member and how to engage others to overcome challenges. It is a privilege to serve our next generation of dairy farmers and guide them on their leadership journey. The future of dairy is bright!”
