Foremost Farms, USA Emphasizes Ongoing Commitment to Safety

October 17, 2024

MIDDLETON, Wis. (October 27, 2024) – Foremost Farms continues its unwavering dedication to the highest standards of health and safety in food manufacturing. To date, Foremost Farms has reached two significant milestones: the Richland Center, Wis. processing plant has completed 1.2 million consecutive hours without a lost-time injury, and the Greenville, Mich. processing plant has gone 830 days without any recordable incidents.

These accomplishments are a testament to the dedication and focused training of the leaders and team members at the Richland Center and Greenville processing plants. Foremost Farms strives to create and maintain a safe, innovative and trusting environment by engaging its employees in educational training processes across all its facilities. These milestones are just a few of the many safety awards and acknowledgments the cooperative has earned across its eight locations.

Foremost Farms collaborates closely with external partners such as the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to stay updated with the latest programs and implement best practices across all locations. As a trusted member of WCMA, our shared values and commitment to safety and training ensure that we collectively prioritize the well-being of our dairy workforce and enhance environmental health and safety standards. We are honored to host the upcoming WCMA and OSHA alliance agreement signing, which will also highlight Foremost Farms’ ongoing commitments.
