Middleton, Wisc. December 16, 2025 – Foremost Farms USA, in partnership with Wisconsin Dairy Distributing (WDD) is pleased to announce the donation of 20,000 pounds of cheese to four regional hunger-relief partners serving Wisconsin and Michigan. This collaboration was made possible thanks to WDD’s generous contribution of support and packaging, ensuring the donation reached families efficiently and with care.
Distribution Partners
The donation has been distributed through the following organizations:
-
- Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin
- Feeding America Western Michigan
- Second Harvest Southwestern Wisconsin
- Second Harvest Heartland (Northwestern Wisconsin)
These organizations play a critical role in receiving and redistributing large-scale food donations. By managing logistics and redistribution, they ensure that locally operated food banks can focus on serving families and individuals in need, without the burden of handling bulk deliveries.
“Cheese is an especially valuable donation because it is among the more expensive items for food banks to purchase,” said Anne Hamming, Marketing and Communications Manager at Feeding America Western Michigan. “We strive to distribute fresh dairy products at our food distribution sites because they are nutrient-rich and loaded with protein, making them essential for the families we serve.”
“At Foremost Farms, we believe in the power of community,” said Brenda Dehart President & CEO of Foremost Farms. “We are proud to partner with Feeding America and Second Harvest to make a meaningful impact in the fight against hunger.”
This donation reflects Foremost Farms’ commitment to being a Force for Good — contributing to our communities, ensuring nutritious dairy products reach those who need them most and honoring the dedication of our employees who initiated this effort and coordinated deliveries to guarantee the cheese reaches its home destination.
