Middleton, Wisc. September 19, 2025 – Foremost Farms USA, a leading dairy cooperative and manufacturer in the Midwest, is excited to announce that it has reached an agreement to sell its foodservice cheese business, including the 1950-127 brand and related manufacturing equipment to Wisconsin Dairy Distributing (WDD), headquartered in Waupun, Wisconsin. This strategic transaction marks a significant milestone in the ongoing collaboration between the two companies.
By aligning their operations more closely, Foremost Farms will focus on producing high-quality cheese, while WDD will take the lead in packaging and distributing these products to foodservice markets throughout the country. This alignment allows each company to leverage its core strengths.
The sale will include a cheese supply agreement to ensure product consistency and uphold the premium standards both companies are known for. Customers can expect uninterrupted access to the same trusted products that they have received from Foremost Farms for foodservice and the 1950-127 brand.
“This transaction allows both organizations to focus on what they do best,” said Brenda Dehart, President & CEO at Foremost Farms. “We’re proud to continue delivering exceptional dairy products while strengthening our partnership with WDD.” The sale is expected to close in the next 90 days.
