It all begins with our member-owners. They’re responsible for setting the cooperative’s direction, selecting our board of directors and producing the high-quality milk used to make Foremost Farms’ dairy products. It takes about 1,000 employees working in facilities throughout the Upper Midwest to make all those dairy products and ingredients. Our workforce is stable, experienced and proud of our reputation as a world-class dairy supplier.

Foremost Farms is guided and controlled by a 15-member board of directors – all member-owners and active dairy producers – who set the policies for management. Progressive and far-seeing, our directors are dedicated to keeping the cooperative strong, flexible and competitive.

We have technical experts on staff to provide innovative product and packaging solutions for the right customers. From Wisconsin Master Cheesemakers to an in-house applications lab, to our association with the University of Wisconsin’s Center for Dairy Research, Foremost Farms has the technical expertise and tools to custom-make solutions.
